Experience the PNW coastal rainforest and breathtaking island scenery along the edge of the Salish Sea.

Your Anacortes Guided Hike Adventure takes you to our favorite coastal trail on Fidalgo Island. Get blown away by the incredible views of the Salish Sea, the San Juan Islands, as well as the Olympic Mountains and Vancouver Island!

Stephanie, our expert local Naturalist-Guide, loves sharing her knowledge about the Great PNW coastal rainforest ecology, flora and fauna on your Anacortes Guided Hike.  She’s always on the look out for wildflowers, including wild orchids! You’ll also learn about the unique geology of the island.  Be listening and looking for birds and marine mammals, which Stephanie will identify.

Meet the Maiden of Deception Pass and get a glimpse into the Samish people’s ways of life and legends.

This hike is easy to moderate, up to 3 mi round-trip and about 100 ft in elevation.  The dirt trail is very well maintained but has a bit of exposed roots and rocks that are easy to navigate.

Want to hike some more?  Great! because there other trails that offer awesome vistas of lakes, the San Juan Islands and the North Cascades that can be added for a full day of hiking around Fidalgo Island.  You might also want to add a hike to Cypress or Vendovi Islands, the “other” San Juan Islands.
