Experience the PNW coastal rainforest and breathtaking island scenery along the edge of the Salish Sea.

Our Anacortes Guided Hikes Adventure takes you to our favorite coastal trail on Fidalgo Island. We guarantee you’ll enjoy its incredible views of the Salish Sea, the San Juan Islands, as well as the Olympic Mountains and Vancouver Island!

Stephanie, our expert local Naturalist-Guide, loves to share her knowledge about the Great PNW coastal rainforest ecology, flora and fauna.  She’s always on the look out for wildflowers (including orchids). You’ll also learn about the unique geology of the island.  Be listening and looking for birds and marine mammals, which Stephanie will identify.

Meet the Maiden of Deception Pass and get a glimpse into the Samish people’s ways of life and legends.

This hike is easy to moderate, 2-4 mi round-trip and about 100 ft in elevation.  The dirt trail is very well maintained but has a bit of exposed roots and rocks that are easy to navigate.

For an extended Hiking Adventure to a lake or hiking on a longer, more difficult trail,  please inquire (additional cost).
