Experience the Great PNW Rainforest hiking in the North Cascades!
This North Cascades Guided Hike takes you on an Adventure along Baker Lake in the Mount Baker National Forest of the North Cascades. It is an easy to moderate hike on a well-maintained trail, at low elevation, 4-6 mi round trip, with little elevation gain, and with varying degrees of muddiness, rockiness and rootiness. Hiking poles are provided.
Meander through the enchanting rainforest guarded by its centuries old giants covered in moss. Admire its lush greenery and wildflowers. Listen to its little streams serenating the forest. Soak in the stunning views of Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan while enjoying your picnic lunch at the lake’s edge.
Stephanie, Skagit’s expert local hiking guide, shares her knowledge of the Great PNW natural history, geology, rainforest ecology, flora, fauna and ways of life during your North Cascades Guided Day Hike.
NOTE: This trail is in the North Cascades mountain range outside the National Park. I do not offer guided hikes in the North Cascades National Park.
Skagit Guided Adventures is permitted to operate within the Mount Baker Ranger District of the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
