Anacortes Spring Wildflower Tours
Anacortes coastal headlands and forest burst into a palette of colors when wildflowers emerge from hibernation. Join Skagit Guided Adventures small group Anacortes Spring Wildflower Tours to “Color Your Spirit”!
The procession of wildflowers begins with: spring gold, field chickweed, woodland star flower, checker lily, common camas, death camas, yellow monkey flower, white plectiris, small-flowered blue-eyed Mary, miner’s lettuce, thrift, sea blush, yarrow and many others. Forest wildflowers include: calypso orchid, coralroot, trout lily, salmonberry and many others.
In March, fields and fields of daffodils color Skagit Valley in yellow. Later in April, the tulips paint the Valley in all shades of white, pink, purple, red, orange! Two tulip gardens showcase their elegantly designs.
Perhaps, the geese and swans will still be here and delight us with their sights & sounds.
