Travel 70 mi alongside the life-giving Skagit River to Diablo Lake, nestled in the heart of the North Cascades.  Feel the wilderness surrounding you: the majestic mountain peaks, evergreen PNW temperate rainforest and turquoise lakes.

Stops include: Skagit River, North Cascades National Park Visitor Center, Gorge Creek Falls and Lookout, Diablo Lake Lookout, an easy hike on the Thunder Creek Trail, and a driver over Diablo Dam.  An optional boat tour is available July through September (additional fee).
