Lake Twentytwo trail takes you through an exemplary old-growth forest guarded by giant cedars, firs & hemlocks, a healthy understory of multi-aged trees and berry bushes, an expansive carpet of moss, a rocky talus slope lined with huge maples, and a forest wetland.  The destination: Lake Twentytwo, a small lake set under the most stunning rock wall of Mount Pilchuck.
