Join Stephanie, our passionate and knowledgeable local birding expert, who will guide you through identifying these remarkable birds by their appearance, vocalizations, and flight patterns.
Gain fascinating insights about their incredible migration journeys, reproductive cycles, dietary habits, current population trends, environmental and human-caused challenges they face, and how they interact with our agricultural landscape.
Master practical skills like proper binocular technique and learn essential “Be Bird Wise” etiquette for responsible wildlife observation.

Discover opportunities to contribute to meaningful conservation science through our ongoing swan and geese research initiatives conducted in partnership with respected local and international researchers and institutions.
Capture stunning photographs framed against charming historical barns, dramatic skies, the majestic North Cascades, and snow-capped Mt. Baker.
Visit in late March to experience an additional visual feast as vibrant yellow daffodil fields transform the landscape and truly “Color Your Spirit!”
NOTE: Don’t let winter weather deter your enthusiasm for joining our Skagit Birding Eco Tour. Much of the birding can be done from and close to the warmth of the vehicle.
